EPA Asst. Administrator states EPA regs impact coal’s competitiveness

EPA Assistant Administrator for the Office of Air and Radiation, Gina McCarthy openly states – under questioning from Energy and Commerce Chairman, Ed Whitfield – that EPA regulations are having a direct impact on the ability of the coal industry to compete domestically and internationally.

Is anyone surprised? Perhaps only that it took them so long to come to this realization.
