UK windfarm shelved due to environmental impacts

Three and a half years of planning and over £10m in investments on a £1.5bn UK wind farm have been tossed out due to concerns over cumulative environmental impacts associated with wind developments in the area of the proposed development.

Interesting to see renewables starting to suffer from the same pressures as other energy sources. As I have said numerous times before, it’s not just fossil fuels and nuclear that are being impacted by increasingly strict environmental expectations for all power producers.
